When Heather and Charly Devlin first opened Fig Tree Restaurant in 1981, their dream was simple. ‘To convert an original farmhouse into a restaurant and serve food grown and prepared by themselves’. In the beginning, the restaurant was the Devlin family home and diners were welcomed to share a table. In 2005 their son Che, took over his parents’ legacy and has grown the restaurant into what it is today, whilst still staying true to his parents’ founding vision.
Still, we remain true to our beginnings; food is grown in our own fig tree garden and orchards, and is lovingly prepared in our family kitchen.
